Hey, I'm Michael and I started TheCyclingCollective out of the desire to have a platform for people to share their passion for cycling.

I first got on a road bike in 2012 with the bicycle of a friend's father. Back then, I was more into climbing and ski touring than this wind-slippery road cycling thingy. After 2 years of constantly using my friends' bicycles, I finally got my own in 2014: A Scott CR1 which I ride up to this day.

On this platform, every bicycle-related story should find its space:
No matter if it's road cycling, mountain biking, gravel biking, or bikepacking, with fancy factory, custom, vintage, or discount bikes, using fixies or multi-gears ridden by professionals, wannabe professionals, hobby bikers, or casual Sunday riders. The goal is to celebrate cycling in all its facets and diversity.
